We and our stallions, Flying Diamond Gypsy Prince & B's Lunar Eclipse
hit the road, August 10 2011 to venture north to our farm in Ontario,
Canada. The "boys" have been enjoying themselves in the rolling Hills,
lush pasture and beautiful weather. They where busy breeding the month
of August and we are blessed and excited to have 5 beautiful mares in
foal. While having their mini retreat up north the "Boys" have also
bee busy strutting their stuff into the RPSI & Weser-Ems/Oldenburg
Societies where they have been accepted into their main Premium Stud
Books. My last quick trip, Sept 24th 2011, I ventured off to present the
"boys" into some Qualifying Shows with the North American Sport Pony
Assoc. It proved well worth the trip as both stallions have been
invited to the Toronto Royal Agricultural Winter Fair at Exhibition
Place, Toronto, Ontario.Flying Diamond Gypsy Prince will compete in the Sport Pony-Hunter
Suitability & B's Lunar Eclipse in the Sport Pony- Dressage
Suitability. We are all patiently awaiting our final trip north to Canada to visit
the Toronto Royal Winter Fair and to bring our "boys" home to Florida
for the winter months.
TORONTO ROYAL AGRICULTURAL WINTER FAIR is a remarkable show; the Royal experience is seeing the best of the best, for ten days, all day.
From the thrill of The Royal Horse Show, to healthy family fun,
learning about food production, farming and more. Her they have it all
under one roof. With over 4,500 national and international exhibitors
and performers including breeders and livestock, kid-friendly rock'n'
roll band The Monkey Bunch, Dressage in the Dark, FEI World Cup Events,
President's Choice© Super Dogs, celebrity appearances, shopping, wine
tutored events and fine dining, this year's Royal will be better than
ever! The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is synonymous with agricultural
innovation, state-of-the-art technology, health and well-being and
world class competition. Since its inception 89 years ago under the
patronage of Queen Elizabeth II, The Royal now attracts more than
340,000 visitors to Toronto every year.
We were also very busy this summer at our farm in Florida! Four of our
own three year olds were started under saddle, and two of our three
year old colts have been started in cart! It looks like yet another
busy show season awaits for 2012!
